Summer Internship 2024
The summer internship program provides an immersive, hands-on experience in the entire filmmaking process, from script development to film screening. Interns gain comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in all aspects of filmmaking, including pre-production planning, casting, rehearsals, and post-production editing. The program fosters creativity, collaboration, and technical proficiency, ensuring participants are well-prepared for future careers in the film industry. Our mission is to nurture the next generation of filmmakers by offering a structured, supportive, and enriching environment.

​Interns are also enrolled in our Life Leadership Academy to develop job, career, and life skills. As a first-time intern, participants enter through our ACCESS program which is the initial level of learning. Once initiated through ACCESS, youth are eligible for lifelong learning through our ELEVATE portion of Life Leadership Academy—a continuation of lessons to advance and grow through.

Life Leadership Academy: This year-round program takes youth through a foundational life skills curriculum to develop and grow job, career, and life skills. We recognize the unique challenges transition-age youth face and understanding the gaps, we provide career and vocational training as well as essential life skills. Our mission is to open young people’s minds to creativity and collaboration while providing the technical proficiency and preparation they need to enter future careers. We ensure a supportive and enriching environment, nurturing the next generation.​
Do I Qualify?
You are welcome to apply for the She Ready Internship Program if you are:

A current or former foster youth

Between ages 18 and 28 years old

Currently attending a community college, 4-year college, or trade school

Will be in California from July 1, 2024 - August 30, 2024

Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
